The welfare officer is the first point of contact for any club staff, volunteers, young people or parents who have any concerns or issues regarding child welfare, poor practice or potential or alleged abuse.
They will ensure that all incidents are reported correctly and referred to the appropriate organisation in accordance with Wavepower – Swim England’s Child Safeguarding Policy and Procedures document.
